Swedish Olympians Return to Kelowna

January 22, 2010





The Swedish Women's Hockey Team returns to Kelowna for its second Pre-Olympic Training Camp from January 22-February 4.

Team Sweden, which held its first training camp in Kelowna from August 16-29, will practise and play a number of exhibition games at both Memorial Arena and Prospera Place.  The team will stay downtown at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre. After winning a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy, Team Sweden opens the 2010 Games in Vancouver on February 13 against Switzerland.
